16 | Meet John B., Johann’s Youngest Son

John B. , John’s youngest son, lived at home near Clear Spring, Maryland, near Montpieler, until he was 28 1/2 years old. He migrated west in the spring of 1826, marrying Mary Sword in the next town west on the way, since her parents didn’t approve.

They went to the Lost Creek neighborhood of Miami county, Ohio, where they lived the rest of their life. John B. was said to have been a Dunkard and had 9 children, all women except David Dorsey. John B. is buried in the Lost Creek Cemetary near Miami, Ohio. The chart below shows John B.’s line. See Descendant Chart 4.
